Patna: Narendra Modi will not be allowed to make government at the Centre in 2024 too, RJD's head Lalu Prasad Yadav said on Monday. His statement comes ahead of the INDIA opposition alliance's fourth meeting, which is scheduled on Tuesday in New Delhi, IANS reported.
"We are going for the meeting of the INDIA bloc, and we will not allow Narendra Modi to form government at the Centre at any cost," the RJD chief told reporters at the Patna airport before departing for the national capital with his younger son and incumbent Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.
When asked about Prime Minister Modi giving a guarantee of coming to power again in 2024, Lalu Prasad asked, "who is Narendra Modi?"
"We are going for the meeting in Delhi, and we will contest elections on one seat, one candidate formula to minimise the distribution of votes. We will form the government at the Centre this time," he claimed.
Last week, India's leading economist and fascist critic, Parakala Prabhakar, slammed PM Modi as well as the RSS, saying that Sangh Parivar is killing India "inch by inch". He strongly criticises the BJP's anti-people policies and financial blunders. In an interview related to the book, he openly stated that Modi is not efficient in governance but is an expert in creating division in society and creating communal hatred. According to him, though Modi is a total failure in many things, he is excellent at creating communal hatred and division in society.
He said that if the BJP comes to power again in 2024, there will be total destruction in the country as the party will turn the country into Hindu Rashtra. Modi's incompetence, including in the economic field and many other areas, should be noted, he said.
