Kochi: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has given a clean chit to DGP N Shankar Reddy in a case related to the sabotage of bar bribery case.

In the preliminary enquiry report submitted in Thiruvananthapuram vigilance court, the VACB has said there is no evidence to file a case against Shankar Reddy.

The report has also given a clean chit former bar briber case investigating officer R Sukesan.

The Thiruvananthapuram vigilance court had ordered a preliminary enquiry against Reddy following a petition filed by Paichira Navas, president of Peoples Forum for Anti-Corruption Drive.
