Germkill India announced the launch of Citrobioshield a new organic product and anti-virulent proved effective against COVID-19. The product was launched in collaboration with BRAINS hospital Bangalore, where this product has been extensively tested and proven effective and safe for daily use.

Citrobioshield, the multipurpose antimicrobial made in India as a part of Make in India project claims to be a hundred per cent natural and organic product that causes no detrimental effects on humans, animals and the environment. It is made out of citrus fruits and other certified bio-degradable ingredients and is completely viricidal for SARS-Cov2.

The Citrobioshield inhalation has been proved safe after testing on COVID-19 positive patients. It is administered as fog through a special machine and in addition to the already prescribed precautions by the government, it can be used to disinfect largely and crowded enclosed spaces like schools, theatres, malls, hospitals, airports, etc. Large areas particularly hospitals and ICUs could thus be sterilized through fogging instead of sterilizing each equipment separately

"Citrobioshield is a fresh ray of hope in the fight against COVID-19. We recommend that this should be adopted as a routine sterilization process as well as a preventive measure for the COVID-19 at all healthcare destinations," said Dr. R Nagaraja Naidu, the inventor and founder of Germkill India.

The product is evaluated using international standards of testing and proven safe for inhalation and oral use without any pernicious effects to human tissues. Dr N K Venkatarama, founder chairman and chief neurosurgeon at BRAINS hospital Bangalore informed that the product is being extensively used in their hospital to ensure the safety of frontline health workers and to sterilize medical equipment.
