Alleged resemblance to Hitler's moustache; Amazon redesigns app icon

Following allegations of resemblance to Adolf Hitler's moustache, e-commerce giant Amazon redesigned its mobile shopping app icon. The blue-coloured ribbon in the logo has been tweaked in the updated new logo.

The change in icon comes after five years following talks on social media, including Twitter, that the blue ribbon above the former logo resembled Hitler's moustache. In the new logo that has replaced this, the corner of the blue ribbon appears folded.

Earlier, online shopping site Myntra had changed its logo after it was alleged to be insulting to women.
