Rio de Janeiro: At least 10 people were killed after a fire ripped through a sporting facility belonging to Brazilian football club Flamengo here on Friday, officials said.

The flames took hold in the early hours of the morning in the club's Ninho do Urubu facility, Efe news reported.

According to the Fire Department, the blaze injured three others, two of them seriously.


Portland(United Kingdom): Investigators recovered a body underwater from the wreckage of a plane carrying Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala in the Channel and transported it to the British mainland on Thursday for identification.

Britain's Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) said that bad weather meant they were unable to recover the plane and as a result it was closing down the operation.
