Milan: Roma issued an apology for their supporters racially abusing Sampdoria's English midfielder Ronaldo Vieira during their goalless Serie A draw.
"AS Roma would like to apologise to Ronaldo Vieira for the racist boos he was subjected to," Roma said on Twitter on Sunday.

Madrid: The Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid has been postponed due to protests in Catalonia, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) said.
The clubs have until 10:00am (0800 GMT) on Monday to find a new date, which will be decided by the RFEF if the clubs cannot reach an agreement.
The original fixture was due to take place at Barca's Camp Nou on October 26.
"FC Barcelona and Real Madrid must agree on the new date of the meeting before October 21," an RFEF statement read.

Dhaka: FIFA President Gianni Infantino has reaffirmed his organisation's commitment to eliminate racism, saying it has no place in football.
"We need to send strong messages, that if there are racists that abuse the soccer players we have to stop the game... We cannot let the racists win," Efe news quoted Infantino as saying in a press conference held here on Thursday.

Barcelona: Barcelona captain Leo Messi received his sixth Golden Shoe as the top scorer in the European leagues on Wednesday.
Messi won the trophy for a third straight year after scoring 36 goals, three more than his closest challenger, Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain.
Messi's sons Thiago and Mateo, presented their father with the trophy supervised by his wife, Antonella Rocuzzo and watched by team-mates, including Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba.

Kolkata: India snatched a 1-1 draw from the jaws of defeat against much lower ranked Bangladesh to dent their chances of qualification in a Group E Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup tie at the packed Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan here on Tuesday.
A first-half strike from Saad Uddin in the 42nd minute helped Bangladesh take a shock lead against India, who are 83 places above them and drew 0-0 against Asian champions Qatar in their last game.
