Thrissur: A major burglary was reported at a house near Badriya Masjid at Perumbilavu in the district on early Sunday morning.
The burglary took place at the house of Kalathil Ayyappan, a retired naval officer. Gold worth 100 sovereigns were stolen from his residence, sources said.
Forensic experts visited the site. Police began the probe into the incident.
