New Delhi: Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel Wednesday reported a 28 percent decline in net income at Rs.1,006 crore for the quarter ended March 31 against Rs.1,401 crore during the like period of the previous financial year.
The total revenue stood at Rs.18,729 crore, up 15 percent during the quarter under review against Rs.16,293 crore during the like period of 2010-11, a company statement said.
For the year ended March 31, 2012 the net income of the company stood at Rs.4,259 crore, down 29.6 percent against Rs.6,047 crore during the year ended March 31, 2011.
The total revenue for the year under review was Rs.71,451 crore, up 20 percent against Rs.59,538 crore during the previous financial year.
