Islamabad: Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has left hospital after treatment for back injuries suffered in a fall in Lahore.
Khan on Wednesday walked out via a back exit of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in the eastern city of Lahore, where he was being treated, avoiding reporters, local television reported.
He has been transferred to his Lahore residence.
"He would stay in his Lahore home for three days and then would be shifted to his home in Islamabad," Khwaja Nazir, a spokesman for the hospital said.
"Doctors have advised him rest, for two more weeks."
He has vowed to lead protests in Islamabad as soon as his doctors, who have advised him to rest in bed for the next few days, allow him to travel.
