Kozhikode: The Medical Council of India has cut short 50 MBBS seats in Kozhikode Medical College Hospital (MCH) citing sub-standard infrastructure.
Hereafter, only 200 seats will be there in the College. The Council also rejected the plea given by the College to allow them to carry on with the admissions in 250 seats.
At the same time, the Council has decided to grant 50 more seats in a private medical college in Kannur.
