Kozhikode: The CPI-M on Thursday demanded that a case be filed against Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Mullappally Ramachandran over the revelation of home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan in the assembly.

“Thiruvanchoor should reveal the names given by Mullappally Ramachandran to be included in the list of the accused in the T P Chandrasekharan murder case,” demanded the party’s Kozhikode district secretary T P Ramakrishnan adding that the statements by the home minister showed that there was a conspiracy to frame CPI-M activists in the case.

Thiruvanchoor, in the assembly on Tuesday, had said that Mullappally suggested some names to be included in the list of the accused of the TP murder case.

However, the union minister came out rebuffing the remarks of the state home minister on Wednesday.
