Thiruvananthapuram: Congress leader K Muraleedharan on Saturday said that there was nothing wrong in including the role of chief minister’s office in the judicial probe ordered into the infamous solar scam case.

“There is provision which makes it possible to investigate things which are not mentioned in the terms of reference. The Commission has the power to do it,” said the son of veteran Congress leader K Karunakaran. Muraleedharan, however, added that was not needed in the present situation.

His remarks come amidst the CPI-M-led LDF strengthening its demand for the inclusion of the CM’s office in the judicial probe.

Muraleedharan also said it was high time the Kerala Congress (M) reign in its leader and government Chief Whip P C George.
