Thrissur: Accusing Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi of promoting 'fascism', Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leader and Industry Minister P K Kunjalikutty on Thursday said fascist ideology posed a great threat to the country.
Addressing the IUML's Thrissur Parliamentary Constituency election convention here, he said it was essential to stem the growth of the fascist ideology.
On criticism of the IUML, a partner of ruling UDF, by Congress leaders like Aryadan Muhammad and K Muraledharan, he said they were 'worthy of replies'.
He said the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee was the right body to make comments on the IUML election conventions, he added.
The main endeavour of the IUML would be to prepare the ground for winning all the 20 Lok Sabha seats in the state in the next election, he said.
