Berlin: Internet search engine Google has revamped its search algorithm with the aim of providing better results for more complex searches, the company announced on Friday.
The new algorithm, called Hummingbird, “pays more attention to each word in the query, ensuring the whole query is taken into account ... (and) does a better job picking the strongest (internet) page,” the company said in a statement.
Google says it has been running the algorithm for several months.
