Thiruvananthapuram: The Summer Theatre Festival being conducted by the `Abhinaya' Theatre Research Centre would be held here from May 25 to 27.

The Theatre troupe had been on a tour across the state from April 28. Three-day festivals were held at Mananthavadi in Wayanad district, Perambra (Kozhikode), Ponnani (Malappuram), Mala (Thrissur), Ernakulam, Kattappana (Idukki) and Kollam as part of the tour. The theatre festival to be conducted at the Vyloppilli Samskriti Bhavan here is the concluding session of the tour.

Festivals at different centres were organised in association with local cultural groups at the place of performance, a press release here said.

Three plays being performed in the festival are `Invisible Cities,' `Pacha' and `Shuddha maddalam.'
