Kottayam: KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala on Tuesday said that the UDF meet, scheduled on October 10, would discuss the issue regarding the resignation of K B Ganesh Kumar MLA.
“The UDF will discuss the issue. I can respond only after the meet on Thursday,” Chennithala told reporters here.
Kerala Congress (B) chairman R Balakrishna Pillai had asked to take Ganesh back in the cabinet during the visit of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, he said adding the Congress would discuss the matter separately.
Muslim League leader and Industries Minister P K Kunjalikutty said that the matter regarding the minister post of Ganesh Kumar should be resolved. “We will talk about it with the chief minister. The UDF meet will also discuss the topic,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ganesh Kumar confirmed the report that he has put in his papers. He, however, refused to divulge any details. “I have given the letter to the party chairman. You can go and ask him for more details,” Kumar told reporters.
