New Delhi: Congress leader K. Sudhakaran has asked Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan to step down if he cannot set things right.
“The general mood in the Congress is to remove Thiruvanchoor from his post. We cannot face the Lok Sabha election with this situation. This will be conveyed to the High Command,” Sudhakaran told reporters here on Wednesday.
“The accused in T.P murder case have received support from top police officials to breach the prison rules. The Home Ministry also failed to check the functioning of the CPI-M in the jail,” he said.
