Kozhikode: Deputy Leader of the Opposition Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has come down heavily on the Chief Minister’s Mass Contact Programme saying it reminds the period of monarchy.
Inaugurating a collectorate siege organised by DYFI activists in Kozhikode on Monday, Kodiyeri said the system was like that of the monarchy in which the King gives gifts to the people.
“The people who come to meet the Chief Minister get the benefits,” he said.
