New Delhi: KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala has said the party has not taken any final decision on party candidates for the coming Lok Sabha election.
“The party has not yet taken any decision on whether it will contest in all the 17 seats. A decision on the party candidates for Lok Sabha polls will be announced soon. It is the Congress High Command that to take a final call on it,” Chennithala told reporters here on Tuesday.
“The first round of talks to decide the party candidates for the election will be held in Kerala. The party will also consult with coalition partners before taking a final decision on it,” he said.
“I have nothing to say more on it,” the KPCC president said when asked about Kerala Congress (M) chairman K.M Mani’s comment on Chief Whip P.C George’s participation in a BJP event.
