Pathanamthitta: Tension prevailed at Vadasserikkara in Pathanamthitta district after a quarry owner opened fire at striking workers on Thursday morning.
INTUC activists N.P Johnson and Biju T Babu were injured in the attack and they have been admitted to the Pathanamthitta General Hospital.
The police, who arrived at the crime scene, seized the gun.
