Kochi: CPI-M General Secretary Prakash Karat has admitted that there are issues in the party state unit and the leadership is trying to resolve them.
“Yes, issues exist in the party even after the state plenum held in Palakkad. We are going on with steps to resolve it,” Karat said at a press conference here on Saturday.
“Though we have succeeded in putting an end to the factional tussle within the party, organisational issues still exist,” he said while asked if issues in the CPI-M have been resolved.
On the investigation report of the party on TP Chandrasekharan murder case, Karat said the final report was not yet ready.
“Even if it is ready, we won’t reveal it as the matter is sub-judice,” he added.
