New Delhi: The two-day long CPI-M Politburo meet to discuss the election strategies of the party has begun here.
According to sources, the meet is unlikely to discuss issues related to the Kerala unit of the party.
The meet will not consider the letter by Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly VS Achuthanandan seeking a probe into the sale of land and building of party organ Deshabhimani to a controversial businessman.
According to reports, the meet is unlikely to discuss the TP Chandrasekharan murder case as the verdict in the case, in which several party leaders are accused, is expected to be pronounced Wednesday.
The factional issues in the state unit of the party are also not in the agenda of the meeting.
As per the party sources, the discussions will be focused on the political allies to be formed ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
