Vaikom: SNDP general secretary Vellapally Nateshan has come down heavily on the NSS, saying that "the community unity is not a one-way traffic."
"The attitude that some people are the lords and others are the tenants is not right. Those who think so are in the heaven of the foolish," Vellapally said while speaking on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Vaikom Satyagraha here on Wednesday.
"There should be some kind of compromise to keep the unity of the Hindus," he said.
"The untouchability in the Temple administration is still practised in Kerala. This is the time for another abstention (Nivarthana) movement," he added.
