Buenos Aires: Italian tennis player Fabio Fognini defeated in four sets Argentine player Carlos Berlocq and granted Italy the qualification to Davis Cup quarter finals.

Italians will now face the winning team between Britain and the US, Xinhua reported Sunday.

With a score of 7-6, 4-6, 6-1 and 6-4, Fognini (15) defeated Berlocq in the match played in the Municipal Skating Rink from Argentina' s city of Mar del Plata, 400 km south of Buenos Aires.
