Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader V.S Achuthanandan has sharply reacted to the statement made by Forest Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, saying that it was the latter who had demeaned the slain RMP leader T.P Chandrasekharan.
“It was Thiruvanchoor who had earned money by selling the book on the murder of T.P Chandrasekharan,” Achuthanandan told reporters here.
“T.P Chandrasekharan had approached Chief Minister Ommen Chandy and Union Minister Mullappally Ramachandran, seeking the security for him as he was facing the death threat,” the CPI-M stalwart said.
“Let the probe takes its turn,” he said when asked about his stand on the CBI probe into the murder case.
Mr. Achuthanandan also lashed out at the media, saying it was trying to conceal the fact in the case.
