New Delhi: The viscera report of Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Union Minster and UDF candidate in Thiruvananthapuram for the Lok Sabha polls, has ruled out any poisoning causing her death.
According to sources, the viscera report is inconclusive and rules out any poisoning, but hints at drug overdose.
The post-mortem report had also hinted at drug overdose being the reason for the death.
The police had found sleeping pills alprax and Excedrin from Sunanda’s wallet and susupected that she might have overdosed on them.
The Police have said that no FIR or criminal case can be lodged on the basis of the viscera report.
Sunanda was found dead in a room at Leela Palace hotel here around 9 pm on January 17.
