New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday has said there is no need to grant bail to PDP leader Abdul Nasser Ma’dani, who is an accused in the Bangalore blasts, for now.
The Bench has also directed him to continue the treatment at the hospital until his health condition is improved. The court will again consider his bail plea after four weeks.
Meanwhile, the Karnataka government has submitted its preliminary report on the health condition of Ma’dani today.
Complying with the Supreme Court directive, Karnataka government Saturday had shifted jailed PDP leader Abdul Nasser Ma’dani to Manipal Hospital for treatment.
According to his counsel P. Usman, Mr. Ma’dani is suffering 10 diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, diabetic neuropathy, slip disc, spondylosis, enlargement of prostrate and cardiac problems. According to the doctors, he is almost blind in the right eye and has just 30 per cent vision in the left.
