Bangalore: Karnataka Home Minister K J George has said that his government has no special interest in the case of PDP leader Abdul Nasser Ma’dani.

“We have no special interest in his case. The government will go ahead according to the Supreme Court procedures,” George told reporters here on Wednesday.

Ma’dani was arrested from Kollam on Aug 17, 2010, in connection with the conspiracy behind the 2008 Bangalore bomb blasts. He has since been under judicial custody and lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central jail here.

He is among 31 people chargesheeted in the case in which one person was killed and 20 others injured.
