Idukki: The police have arrested a person in connection with the murder of a Tamil woman at Kumali bus stand here Monday morning.
Manikandan, who also hails from Tamil Nadu, was arrested soon after he stabbed Anna Lakshmi following a quarrel between them at around 8 am.
According to the police, the duo had a verbal fight in the street and Manikandan took out a knife and stabbed Lakshmi causing serious injuries.
Although she was rushed to the hospital by the police, that could not save her life.
