New Delhi: The name of Congress MP Kamal Nath was recommended as the pro tem speaker to the president, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said Wednesday.
"We have recommended to the president, Kamal Nath's name as the pro tem speaker," Naidu said after taking charge as the parliamentary affairs minister.
Kamal Nath, former parliamentary affairs minister, was elected to the Lok Sabha for the ninth term from Chhindwara constituency in Madhya Pradesh.
