Los Angeles: Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher is all set to star as Steve Jobs in the movie ‘Jobs.’

The independent movie is being produced and financed by Five Star Institute's Mark Hulme. Director Joshua Michael Stern is set to begin the movie in May, while Kutcher is on break from CBS sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men,’ reports hollywoodreporter.com.

The film will chronicle Jobs’ meteoric rise from a northern California hippie to the co-founder of Apple. Sony snapped up the film rights from writer Walter Isaacson's authorized biography of Jobs that was published within weeks of his death Oct 5 last year.
