London: Indian wrestler Amit Kumar Friday moved into the quarterfinals of the men's 55kg event at the Olympics, defeating Iran's Hassan Sabzali Rahimi.

Kumar, who received a first round bye, will next face the winner of the bout between Bulgarian Radoslav Marinov Velikov and Vladimer Khinchegashvili of Georgia.

Kumar is the youngest Indian wrestler to qualify for the Olympics.
