Kabul: Six NATO soldiers have been shot dead in Afghanistan, of whom three were killed by an Afghan police officer.
A police commander in Helmand province shot dead three NATO soldiers after inviting them to a party Friday, Xinhua reported.
Three more were killed the same day at a police station in Helmand when a 13-year-old student who worked there as a helper opened fire at them.
Assadullah, the commander of a police station in Sangin district, invited the soldiers for a party in Bostanzoi village, and after having meal he opened fire, killing them.
Another NATO soldier was injured, Sangin district governor Mohammad Sharif told Xinhua.
"The attacker after committing the crime escaped the scene and joined the Taliban militants," he added.
The officer, according to the villagers, had served the police for the past seven years.
The second attack took place in Germsir district.
