Thiruvananthapuram: ‘Anthimakaahalam’ written by the noted writer Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiri has been selected for the prestigious Vayalar Rama Varma Literary Award.
The award consists of a citation and a purse of Rs. 25, 000.
He is also a recipient of Kendra Sahithya Academy Award and Ezhuthachan Award.
The award was instituted in 1977 by a trust set up to perpetuate the memory of the poet and lyricist Vayalar Ramavarma..
