Odense (Denmark): India's star badminton player Saina Nehwal entered the women's singles final of the Denmark Open Superseries Premier event after World No.1 Wang Yihan of China retired from the last four clash here Saturday.
Fourth-ranked Saina was leading 21-12, 12-7 when Wang decided to quit. Prior to the semifinal, Saina had a 0-6 record against the Chinese.
The Hyderabadi, seeded third in the tournament, will take on Germany's Juliane Schenk in the title match Sunday. Saina leads 5-3 in her meetings against Juliane.
The German got the better of China's Jiang Yanjiao in the other semifinal. She came from behind for a 13-21, 21-14, 21-15 victory.
