Mumbai: Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh have been brought back into the India squad for the first two cricket Tests against England.

The new national selection committee, headed by Sandip Patil, at its first meeting here at the Cricket Centre also brought in middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane in place of Suresh Raina, and included Murali Vijay as reserve opener.

Vijay comes in for his state-mate Subramanian Badrinath, who was in the squad which played New Zealand in a two-Test series in August.

The first Test against England is to be played in Ahmedabad from Nov 15 and the second Test in Mumbai from Nov 23.

Squad: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Cheteshwar Pujara, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Ravichandran Ashwin, Zaheer Khan, Umesh Yadav, Pragyan Ojha, Harbhajan Singh, Murali Vijay, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma.
