text_fieldsThiruvananthapuram: The 17th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) beginning here on December 7 will feature a special focus on cinema from Vietnam.
Five films from the country would be screened at the festival, IFFK sources said.
'Mother's Soul' directed by Nhue Giang Pham, 'Don't be Afraid' by Dang Di Phan, 'When Tenth Month Comes' (Nhat Minh Dang), 'Ms Tu Hau (Pham Ky Nam) and 'Moon at the Bottom of the Well' (Nguyen Vinh Son) are the films to be screened the section.
The Vietnamese film industry, once a government tool, is now on a revival path. The country focus package on Vietnam would be a treat for the audience, the sources said.
