New Delhi: Getting attention from ardent fans in Pakistan and India is not something unusual for singer and actor Ali Zafar, who has established a big fan following for himself after his music albums and performance in 'Tere Bin Laden' and 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'.
However, the attention that the actor received from a fan in Paris recently took him by surprise and gave him a new high.
While shooting in Paris for debutante director Anu Menon's 'London, New York, Paris', scheduled to hit cinema screens next month, Zafar couldn't contain his happiness when a woman charged at him heaping praises on his talent.
According to a source from the unit of the film ''The unit was in Paris and busy shooting when suddenly out of the blue, a woman from the crowd ran towards Ali recognising him as one of the guys from Coke Studio, a Pakistani television series featuring live music performances. She went berserk and said she watched all episodes of Coke Studio and loved him and his performances the most.'' The adulation received by Ali in a city like Paris has given a new high to the actor who is naturally excited to know that his fame goes beyond the precincts of the subcontinent.
