Thiruvananthapuram: The government is ready for an all-party meeting to discuss the issues of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Transport Minister Aryadan Muhammad informed the Assembly Wednesday.
Saying that the government is assessing the scope of practicality in relying on private petrol pumps to cater to the fuel requirement, the minister added that the ministry was open for that option too.
The government will hold talks with the Indian Oil Corporation officials to sort out the issues faced by bulk consumers of diesel in the State. The Centre’s response to the State’s demand to re-implement diesel subsidy in the case of public companies is not positive.
The minister said though he tried to have a talk with Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily Tuesday, the meet did not take place.
