Thiruvananthapuram: Leader of the Opposition V.S Achuthanadan has said that he will continue his legal fight to bring the culprits to justice in the controversial ice cream parlour case.
Talking to reporters here on Saturday, he also said he would approach the High Court in connection with the case.
Meanwhile, P.K Kunhalikutty has said that the law will take its own course with regard to the Ice Cream Parlour case.
“There is nothing new in the case diary,” he said.
Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan was Thursday handed over the case diary of the case that the two-decade long Ice cream parlour sex scandal case was sabotaged at the behest of P K Kunjalikutty, Muslim League leader and Industries minister.
The case diary contains statements of the victims Rajeena, Roslin, Bindu and Rajula, and the driver of K A Rauf, the estranged relative of Kunjalikutty.
As per reports, the victims have accused Kunjalikutty of trying to persuade them to change their statements in favour of the Muslim League leader.
The scandal pertains to allegations that an ice cream parlour in Kozhikode district was used as a cover for running a sex racket in the late 1990s. Though Kunjalikutty never became an accused in the case, he had come under a cloud in the wake of the scandal and even had to quit the ministry then.
