New Delhi: Punjab police on Friday recovered 26kg heroin worth Rs 130 crore from a flat in Mohali.

Punjab police arrested Anup Singh Khalon after the drug was recovered from his flat in Zirakpur, Mohali, Times Now reported Friday.

Punjab Police said that Anup Singh Kahlon, an NRI, has claimed links with boxer Vijender Singh. Kahlon also alleged that he supplied small amounts of heroin to boxers Vijender Singh.

According to police sources they are looking into his call details to see if he has any connection with Vijender or he is trying to misled investigations.

Boxer Vijender Singh has denied having any links with Anup Singh Khalon. Vijender Singh said that his name was being misused.
