Bangalore: Abdul Nasser Ma’dani, granted bail to attend his daughter's marriage, was on Saturday released from Parappana Agrahara jail on five days parole.
According to latest reports, Ma’dani will arrive Thiruvananthapuram by tonight and would drive to Kollam. His stay during parole period will be at Kollam Azeezia Medical College.
He was earlier scheduled to board the Indigo Flight from Bangalore at 9.15 am. His trip was delayed as the Karnataka police accompanying him did not get permission to board the flight with weapons. Not only that the police were not able to produce the necessary documents needed to bring a prisoner.
Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan Friday said that Abdul Nasser Ma’dani would make his trip to Kerala under tight security and in full adherence to the bail conditions.
Sources said Madani would attend his daughter's wedding in Kollam on March 10 and also visit his ailing father in the same place.
