ISL: Kerala Blasters’ play-offs fate hangs in the balance

Kochi: Kerala Blasters have to prove they can do it—at least today. Winless in eight matches stares at them, as the team is gearing up to take on Jamshedpur FC today.

The two-time finalist opened this season with a win against ATK but has since gone downhill.  Nothing is more humiliating than winless run in ISL. It has been their doing, say experts.

David James’s boys have lost seven points from winning positions conceding to late goals.

“We have been very close in a lot of games. Early on in the season, there were a few decisions that didn’t go our way. Perhaps we could have created more chances,” said James, the team’s coach.

It is too early to predict the outcome, so let’s wait.
