Chennai: Can the audio launch of a Tamil film get any bigger?
It has been confirmed that Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger will launch the audio of Shankar's 'Ai' featuring Vikram in the lead role. Chinese Kung fu star Jackie Chan will join Arnold at the event that will take place in Chennai on September 15.
Representing Aascar Films, co-producer of the movie Ramesh Babu has met Schwarzenegger and personally handed over the invitation. The movie is presented by Venu Ravichandran, popularly known as Aascar Ravichandran.
The event is expected to be a grand affair with the presence of top Indian celebrities with majority of the Kollywood stars attending it. The 50-second teaser of the much awaited movie is also expected to be released during the audio launch.
The film's music is composed by double Oscar winner A. R. Rahman. Young music composer Anirudh has rendered a song for 'Ai' and Sony music has snapped the audio rights of the film.
‘Ai’ is getting ready to release by Diwali, and is believed to be released in about 15,000 screens all over the world in 8 languages. The big budget romantic-thriller also features Malayalam's Suresh Gopi in an important role.
Amy Jackson is the leading lady of the film. Upen Patel, Santhanam and 'Power Star' Sreenivasan are also among the cast.
