Prithviraj in Malayalam remake of Spanish time-travel film

Kochi: Well-known actor-producer Prithviraj Sukumaran will star in the Malayalam remake of critically-acclaimed Spanish time-travel thriller "Timecrimes".
"Although the film will be an adaptation of the original, its remake rights have been bought. Prithviraj is most likely to produce while debutant Kannan will direct it," a source close to the actor told IANS.
A bizarre thriller laced with time-loop concept, "Timecrimes" revolves around a middle-aged man who is fighting himself when stuck in a time continuum.
The makers are currently on the lookout for the rest of the cast.
"If everything goes as planned, the film may go on floors early next year," the source said, adding Prithviraj will add a few kilos to play his part.
