Mumbai: Actress Shilpa Shetty on Monday said she is consulting her legal team over allegations that a company run by her fraudulently induced a Kolkata-based company to invest Rs.9 crore.

“Crazy news! I dare this Manoj Jain 2submit proofs 2 his ridiculous claims. His 2minute Fame can't b @ the cost of my hard earned reputation (sic),” Shilpa posted on Twitter.

"Seeking legal advice...He's a defaulter & clearly a fraud going by his reputation. So annoying," she added.

The case against the actress and Ripu Sudan Kundra of Essential Sports and Media Private Limited, was filed by M.K. Media Private Limited.

The actress, who has delivered hits like "Main Khiladi Tu Anari" and "Dhadkan", is fuming over the charges.

Shilpa, who is married to businessman Raj Kundra, has turned into an entrepreneur with a spa and wellness chain IOSIS, co-ownership of the IPL team of Rajasthan Royals. She even has a jewellery business, and is a successful fitness expert.
