Thiruvananthapuram: Popular award winning south Indian actress Shobana says doing films is not a priority for her as of now as she is busy channelling her talent in other creative pursuits.

The actress was in the state capital on Monday for the launch of a product of which she is a brand ambassador. She said she is busy with her dance and her dance school in Chennai.

"Time is a problem these days as I am working on my own, writing scripts for my own choreographic production. Creativity is not just doing films, creativity can be used for other forms also and I am basically doing that now," said the 46-year-old.

The two-time National Award winner, who has donned the greasepaint for over 200 south Indian films, added: "People do approach me with scripts, but I am in no hurry to do films. But I feel I might do one project in Malayalam this year."

Shobana began her acting career in 1984 with "April 18" in which she played the lead role.

Since, then she has rubbed shoulders with the who's who in the Malayalam film industry, including all the three superstars - Mammootty, Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi.

On her choreographic production "Krishna", which is nearing a 100 stage shows, she said she is staging it during Onam season (September second week) this year at a few places in Australia.
