Kochi: Prithviraj-starrer Malayalam film "Ezra", which will be helmed by debutant Jay K, will start rolling from here on Wednesday.

"We are going on floors tomorrow (Wednesday). It will be a fairly long schedule. Once we knock off the Kochi portions, we will then move to Mumbai and Pune. We are also dabbling with the idea of a shorter schedule in either Sri Lanka or Dubai," Jay, an erstwhile assistant of Rajkumar Santoshi and Ram Gopal Varma, told IANS.

While Prithviraj will join the sets on July 5, leading lady Priya Anand is expected to join later this week.

Produced by Mukesh R. Mehta under the banner of E for Entertainment, "Ezra" is a horror-thriller with a Jewish backdrop.

The project also stars Tovino Thomas and Bharat Dabholkar.
