Los Angeles: Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the weapon supervisor of the Spaghetti Western movie 'Rust', has faced allegations of being "likely hungover" when she loaded a live bullet into a gun on the set.

According to reports from 'Mirror.co.uk', prosecutors claimed that Hannah engaged in "smoking and drinking in the evenings" during her work on the film.

They further asserted that her "reckless conduct" had been a repeating issue and that she need to "finally be held accountable".

The gun, loaded by Hannah, was handed to Alec Baldwin on the set, who accidentally pointed it at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during a rehearsal on the New Mexico film set in late 2021.

The gun discharged, resulting in Hutchins' tragic death and injured the film's director, Joel Souza.

These accusations arose after Hannah's lawyers filed a motion last month seeking to dismiss her involuntary manslaughter charge.

In response to the new allegations, Hannah's lawyer, Jason Bowles, criticized the prosecutors for ‘mishandling’ the case.

Hannah's preliminary hearing is currently scheduled for August, during which a judge will determine whether there is sufficient probable cause for the charges to proceed.

In an interview with The Times, the 65-year-old actor said that he was still struggling to come to terms with the fatal shooting.
