TV actress Ankita Lokhande said that Mouni Roy's performance in the adventure fantasy film Brahmastra was "fantastic and up to the mark".

Industry insiders and fans alike are praising Roy's portrayal of the antagonist. Her character is named Junoon who wants to conquer the ancient weapons and release a bound entity. The former TV actress's role is being compared to Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda.

The audience is impressed with her work and Mouni is being called the revelation of the star-studded film. Solid screen presence as an opposing force may finally help her find her footing in the industry.

She said she will cherish the film for the rest of her life and the response to her role is overwhelming. "I have dedicated myself thoroughly to my role Junoon and I am glad the patience has paid off."

Mouni started her career in the TV series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and went on to work in popular shows like Naagin. Many actors from the TV industry - Arjun Bijlani, Sriti Jha, and Drashti Dhami - took to social media to celebrate Mouni's success.
