BLACKPINK’s Jisoo opens solo YouTube channel, fans make her birthday special

Blackpink singer Jisoo celebrated her 28th birthday by launching her solo YouTube channel. Fans have been wishing her by sharing photos and videos of the idol. #HappyBirthdayJisoo has been trending worldwide on Twitter all day.
At midnight KST, she launched her first-ever video on the channel named ‘happiness Jisoo 103 per cent’ (행복지수 103%). The video is about the recent tour stop of Blackpink in London. Jisoo took viewers across the city and gave them an idea about the schedule. She also showed off the foods she tasted while in the city.
The proceeds earned through the channel will go to charities and Jisoo wished everyone's happiness goes higher than ever before.
The world-renowned singer is now testing the waters at Korean dramas and made her debut in one of the most anticipated shows 'Snowdrop'. She will be seen opposite Jung Hae In. The plot is set in the backdrop of 1987 when many protesting university students were acquitted of being North Korean spies. It follows the love story of a university student and a North Korean spy.
Jisoo's agency YG Entertainment has also confirmed that she is working on her solo debut and it will be released this year.
